Yes, we coordinate closely with your doctors and specialists to ensure that all medical, health and nutritional areas are being considered. If you do not have a specialist or medical practitioner that you see, we can provide you with professional services to ensure all areas of your health are addressed.

It is a step-by-step process to ensure that results are achieved in line with your personal goals. The face-to-face or telehealth consultations with your dietitian could last for approximately 3 months but will depend upon your individual dietetic and health requirements.

Weight loss results could occur within the first two weeks. Other medically related issues show results depending on your personal health situation. We work with you to achieve your health goals no matter what your situation.

A care plan is a document prescribed by a GP, when you meet certain medical criteria. This entitles you to five visits claimable through Medicare each calendar year. For a dietetics service, the rebate is approximately $50 per visit (up to 5 visits).

A nutritionist is qualified nutrition professional that provides advice and service in a range of public health nutrition, policy and research and community health settings. Dietitians are registered under the Dietitians Australia, following an accredited tertiary degree. Dietitians have the expertise to provide individual dietary counselling and medical nutrition therapy. All dietitians are nutritionists, but a nutritionist does not have the qualifications to be a dietitian and provide individual dietary advice.
